Hey guys thought I'd give you all another update and post a job opportunity. I live in VA and work for an audio visual company that specializes in high-end hotel conferences. I've been on the job a couple of months and love it. We're looking to hire another full time tech to work at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, VA. Techs basically set up audio, video and projection gear and run them during shows that can range from a few people having a conference call to a few hundred people at an annual meeting. You don't have to have any background in AV; what they're really looking for are people who can work well with clients and learn quickly. Let me know if anyone is interested in more info and I'll let you know.
