Business Casual

Business casual is not about power suits. But it's not about T-shirts and jeans either. Instead, it indicates a style of dress that's tailored, neat, and crisp enough for business dealings and meetings, but casual and relaxed. In other words, it's clothing that's comfortable and easy, but still means business. In the absence of a jacket, the shirt becomes the key to making the look work.

For men, a pair of khakis or slacks and a button down shirt or sweater define business casual. For women, business casual can be slacks or a skirt paired with a blouse or sweater. As always, wear appropriate shoes. No sneakers, sandals or open toe shoes.
