The MPRI Interactive Media Scholarship

MPRI, a communications company in northern Virginia, has hired a number of SMAD Interactive Media graduates.  In kicking off their partnership with SMAD, MPRI has provided JMU a $1,000 award to fund the inaugural MPRI Interactive Media Scholarship in 2008. This scholarship will support a rising senior preparing for a career in interactive media. The MPRI scholarship is based on the student's commitment to new and interactive media, academic achievement and financial need.

Each year a $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a rising senior Digital Video or Interactive Media concentrator. Awards are based on commitment to electronic media production, financial need, and academic performance. Students are eligible to apply toward the end of their junior year.

The recipient will be announced Thursday, April 10th at the SMAD Banquet & Awards Ceremony.
