SMAD announces the launch of its newest website, SMADshow! The site functions as a showcase for SMAD students. It highlights some of the best student work in print and graphic design, photography, videography, and web development. It also includes SMAD students’ portfolio sites.
The site was created as part of a SMAD 408, Converged Media Lab, project in the 2011 fall semester. Students in the class solicited content, designed the site and created the framework for showcasing student content.
One aspect of the site is a new video to promote the department. Hosted by SMAD students Allison Parker and Levi May, the video provides viewers with information about the department, the four concentrations and the facility.
Gabe Kosowitz and James Gilliam served as project managers for the site. Gabe, along with Nick Ford and Kyle Yotka, created the video. Phil Ernst served as the web team leader and worked with Dan Parmelee on creation of the site. Kelly Turner created the logo and along with Katie Mordecai worked on content and promotion.
Professor Steve Anderson was the SMAD 408 instructor.
