SMAD Students Win SPJ Awards

SMAD students have picked up several awards in the Region 2 Mark of Excellence contest put on by the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ). SMAD Major Evan Dyson picked up six awards and three of the Curio's four entries earned awards.

The awards will be presented during the Mark of Excellence Luncheon at the upcoming Spring Conference, March 28-29, in Lexington, Virginia at Washington & Lee University. The first place winners will go up against the 11 other first place winners from across the country.
