Hinshaw & Grundmann Win Videographer Awards

Professors Joe Hinshaw and Mike Grundmann have received the highest honor, the Award of Excellence, from the Videographer Awards for their DVD "Geometry Rules." More than 1,800 entries were received from entries all over the world with an acceptance rate of just 14%.

Hinshaw and Grundmann, along with SMAD spring 2009 graduates Scott Graham and Heather Elliott, produced the 15-minute program for middle-schoolers showing real-world applications of geometry.

In addition, Hinshaw's DVD, a companion to his book on Visual Storytelling, also won an Award of Excellence.
