One Day / One University Scholarship

The One Day/One University Scholarship is the first "student-generated" scholarship created at James Madison University. The fund for the scholarship was created in 1999 with the production of the nationally recognized video program "One Day/One University.” Since then, Digital Media students in the School of Media Arts and Design have gone on to produce numerous other programs such as "Pat McGee: Live", "Beyond JMU: The DVD", "One Day/One Community", and "MacRockumentary" which have raised additional support for the fund.

Each year a $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a rising senior Digital Video or Interactive Media concentrator. Awards are based on commitment to electronic media production, financial need, and academic performance. Students are eligible to apply toward the end of their junior year.

Deadline: April 4, 2007
