7th Annual Madison Screenwriting Scholarship Competition

Screenwriting ScholarshipThe School of Media Arts and Design announces the 7th annual Madison Screenwriting Scholarship Competition, open to non-graduating majors in SMAD, English, and Theater.

Applicants must submit 3 copies of a short screenplay of 20 pages or less in proper screenplay format. All genres are acceptable but the work must be original and no adaptations are allowed.


Due Date: 5pm Friday, March 16th in the SMAD office - Harrison 0276

Awards: 1st Place $1250, 2nd Place $750 (applied towards winners Fall 07 tuition)

Winners will be announced Friday, April 27th at the SMAD Dog Days Picnic & Awards Ceremony
