8th Annual Madison Screenwriting Scholarship Competition

The School of Media Arts and Design announces the 8th annual Madison Screenwriting Scholarship Competition, open to non-graduating majors in SMAD, English, and Theater.

Applicants must submit 3 copies of a short screenplay of 20 pages or less in proper screenplay format. All genres are acceptable but the work must be original and no adaptations are allowed.

Due Date: 5pm Friday, March 14th in the SMAD office (Harrison 0276)

Awards: 1st Place $1250, 2nd Place $750 (applied towards winners Fall 08 tuition)

The winners will be announced Thursday, April 10th at the SMAD Banquet & Awards Ceremony.
