Keynote Speaker CNN's Jim Acosta (1993 Alumnus) SMAD is pleased to announce that SMAD alumnus and CNN correspondent Jim Acosta wil be the keynote speaker for the SMAD Spring Banquet. Acosta is a 1993 graduate of the department. Based in the network's New York bureau, Acosta joined CNN in March 2007 as a general assignment correspondent. Before joining CNN, he was a CBS News correspondent since 2003.
