Of those awards, The Breeze won two first-place honors from VPA. Sports Editor Tim Chapman, a sophomore who in April will begin work as the newspaper's editor-in-chief, won first place in the news-series category for his pieces about a JMU basketball player who had lost three close relatives in just six months. This affects both newly admitted students and those currently in either DV or CS. SMAD 201, 202, 210, 220, 301, 302 370 and a 305 Special Topics class will offered, but only if there is sufficient enrollment.
